The 22nd Annual Camp Sunrise will take place
August 6th-13th, 2016
at Camp Joy in Clarksville, Ohio.
Camp Sunrise is a place where you hear people laughing – not just children, but teens and adults alike. It is a place where the worries of the world do not touch a little piece of heaven that we get to live in, even if only for a week.

Camp Sunrise: Empowering children and families impacted by HIV/AIDS since 1994
Camp Sunrise, founded in 1994 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is Ohio’s only summer camp program developed specifically for children impacted by HIV/AIDS. Each summer, Camp Sunrise welcomes as many as 100 children to experience the joys of friendship, the love and support of a
caring community, and an encouraging environment free of the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.
Effective January 1, 2014, AIDS Resource Center Ohio (ARC Ohio) welcomed Camp Sunrise to its statewide network. By consolidating with ARC Ohio, Camp Sunrise, now in its 22nd year, continues its tradition of providing programming specifically developed for children impacted by HIV/AIDS. Camp Sunrise continues as a program of ARC Ohio furthering the mission of both organizations of providing care, empowerment, and hope to people impacted by HIV/AIDS.
